Since 2010, I’ve been leading and organizing workshops focused on natural voice work. I specialize in “opening the voice” and the art of speaking, and I also work with traditional singing.
The goal of the Voice Spinning workshops is to build an organic relationship with sound. When participants notice how closely the voice is connected to the body, to relaxation, and to emotional freedom, they begin to discover the strength of their own sound.
The workshops are based on the idea that there is great power in not forcing. We work with softness and with allowing the voice to come out fully and freely. We look for both physical and emotional support that helps the sound flow.
For many years, I organized ethnomusicological trips, collecting material for vocal work. With a recorder, I traveled to places such as Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, Ukraine, India, and Georgia.
